Recently this post has gotten a bunch of HEARTS at FB (no likes, just hearts!)...

so I wanted to share it here to make sure you got to see it!

Power as Belonging

It’s not about who controls the room,

but who creates space for others

to show up as themselves.

That’s power in Joy-Based Living …

the creation of safe, tender, honest spaces.

In Joy-Based Living,

power is about presence.

It’s about creating a space

where people feel safe enough to bring their whole selves …

tender, radiant, messy, and real.

Power as belonging means:

  • When you walk into the room, others feel more free, not less.
  • When you speak, your words make space for truth, not fear.
  • When you lead, it feels like an invitation, not an order.

This is the kind of power that nourishes connection.

It turns groups into communities,

and communities into places of healing and joy.

Trust your joy.

You will find your people…

You will speak your truth…

And you will live your joy!

Much love,

Debbie Happy Cohen
